evilrobot The Lumina 900 is indeed a nice phone, but it shares from the same problem that killed off Nokia's older Symbian-based smartphones: Lack of Apps.
The best smartphone isn't worth much if you don't have enough companies and people suppling apps and for Windows mobile there just are not enough around compared to iOS or Android and I am not sure that is going to change in the foreseeable future.
Another thing, but that may just be my impression, is that the marketing and optical design for the Lumina 900 has been off target. Nokia tried to make the phone look trendy, but in fact it is now looking like a cheap plaything especially compared to the iPhone or the Galaxy SII. Hardly a good thing for a high-end smartphone.
It's a shame really. I've had mobile phones for 15 years now. Until last year all of my 6-7 phones which I owned during that time had been from Nokia....now I own a Galaxy SII. Nokia simply missed the bus. My last Nokia was the N95 which in many ways is similar to the Lumina 900: Nice device, good hardware, good useability......but absolutely useless as a Smartphone because there were next to no apps available (again compared to iOS or Android).
