Aetna Hopes Games Will Make People Healthier

266 Days Ago11/14/2011Aetna Games...would Bernanke use this...not....

Yes its a good way to "dumb down" consumers in not looking at reality as far as managing their healthcare.

I'll go one step further here, would you see the likes of Ben Bernanke playing this game:) Let's be real and talk about managing healthcare for what it really is. It's not a game and actually Homeland Security had said we "dumb down" people with such methodologies. This is just flat out marketing to sell software and make some developers rich, who would never in a hundred years spend any time themselves using it, they don't eat their own dog food, in it for the money. I used to write code and if there were a big enough pot of gold to brain wash consumers, developer jump on it. The end result is sadly a "dumb down".

Go see what Professor Seife says about a lot of this marketing too, I push his book a lot, Proofiness, the Dark Side of Mathematical Deception. We have to be real today and not make everything a game to make game makers richer and market it just for that purpose.
